The Rotary Club of Clear Creek 2000 is seeking applicants for our 2024 Scholarship Program.  The club will award two or more scholarships, valued at up to $2500, to pursue VOCATIONAL OR OCCUPATIONAL TRAINING at an accredited school or training institution.
What programs will qualify for the scholarship, you ask?  Aircraft or vehicle maintenance, building trades, medical and dental assistants and technologists, EMS, physical therapy, cosmetology, culinary arts or outdoor leadership, just to name a few. These are programs which equip students with a specific set of skills rather than a general education.
When completing the application, please provide the field you intend to pursue and, if known, the institution you plan to attend or apply to.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
  • Graduation from Clear Creek [Colorado] High School, OR Clear Creek County, Colorado resident with the equivalent of a high school diploma
  • Age 22 or under as of June 30, 2024
The scholarship can be used for tuition, fees, books, materials and tools.
Here are some comments from Sawyer Kitting, a previous Rotary scholarship recipient:
Your generosity has helped me throughout my educational career. My first few semesters went very well and were full of lessons for life and school. I am now enrolled in our highly competitive nursing program. Soon I will be taking clinical shifts in the local hospital and will be able to look after patients of my own. So I want to say thank you. You have provided the support for me to remain at the top of my class, have an amazing job on campus, and work towards my dream of nursing. I look forward to continuing to update you on my success throughout the next year and a half."
Another previous Rotary scholarship recipient, Maya Berber-Corriero, said:
"With help from the Clear Creek 2000 Rotary Club scholarship, I have been able to follow my passion. I am able to attend a school where my area of study was top of the line, and able to pursue not only a job but find a life long career."
